Never say any dumb or undesirable thing to your Boss. Although we all know this, but at one time or another we do it to varying degrees. One must avoid saying such exhaustive things and by doing so you are giving a tremendous service to your boss as well as to your own professional person.
That’s not my problem
If you’re assigned a duty that you feel is not your job, still avoid from saying so. A lot of bosses think that your job is to do what’s asked of you. If the boss asks over you to do a bit out of the ordinary, never say to your boss that it’s not in your job description to do it.
That is impossible to do
No boss wants to hear this as it advocate both a lack of effort and indifference. Saying impossible makes you look inadequate or incapable. Instead of saying this, search for ways of solving that problem.
This is the best they could do?
This is one of those remarks that indicate to your boss, that you have a deceived sense of entitlement. It also put down the efforts possibly your boss has made.
That isn’t in my job
You have to do a lot of things, including e-mailing your friends from work or surfing the web, that aren’t detailed in your job description, but you do those things anyways. So, why take offense just by saying this line.
Does it matter if I get this finished
Asking about the significance of a certain question is time-killing and insulting to both of you as no boss wishes you to waste an hour doing a project incorrectly.
Lets connect on Facebook!!
Social interactions with your boss should, without question, be discouraged. Extending this demand puts him in an itchy position. You can mingle with him in office parties, but requesting this is just foolish.
According to a report, 8% of the US companies fired their employs because of Facebook because it lowers the productivity.
One of the very common things is exchanging foolish remarks about your boss on Facebook and saying how much you hate your job. It’s better to keep your boss away from your FB account.
This is an easy job, any one can do that
If your Boss assign you a simple task, be glad and do it as quickly as you can, rather saying this stupid thing. Maybe you’re trying to express that you’re so brilliant and the work is easy but Bosses don’t like hearing that.
I can do only one thing at a time
Complaining you are overworked will not make your boss feel apologetic for you instead he will feel that you resent your job and also you are not up to your job.
It’s not my fault
This has the result of making people suspect, so these words should be avoided. If something went wrong and needs to be fixed, try to find the real issue.
I don’t get paid enough for this
This kind of statement serves no purpose and you are absolutely wrong when you say this. Such a statement packs so many ready-made responses for you like “Then quit, and accomplish your intact potential elsewhere.”
